I’m Jennifer. I see the possibility—and the moving pieces.

I work with visionaries, dreamers, and doers who have something they want to bring to life. Sometimes it is a business waiting to begin. Sometimes it is an established organization with files everywhere, processes living in someone’s head, and a long list of things that need attention.
My work connects the vision with the structure behind it: a clear plan, useful documents, organized information, a professional presence, and systems that support the way you actually work.
Where logic meets magic.
My background begins with people.
Before A Powerful Sorceress, my work included human services, program oversight, resettlement leadership, and customer-facing operations. I’ve worked as a Licensed Program Specialist and Director of Resettlement—roles that brought people, documentation, coordination, and accountability into the same room.
That experience shapes how I approach business systems. A policy needs to make sense to the person using it. Information needs a clear home. A process needs to work when the day gets busy, not just when everything goes according to plan.
I also earned an associate degree in Business Management with an entrepreneurial focus from Erie County Community College. APS brings that business foundation together with my experience supporting people, programs, and everyday operations.
It started with paper, stamps, and an order form.
By third or fourth grade, I was making origami boxes and stamped holiday cards—with an order form to go with them. Long before I had the language for entrepreneurship, I was already thinking about what I could create and how to offer it to other people.
I’ve always felt that I was meant to do more than pay bills and move through the motions. I wanted to build things, explore possibilities, and make something of my own. A traditional role never quite held all the things I wanted to do.
In my working life, I’ve often been the person wearing several hats, picking up the slack, and giving more than the role on paper required. That taught me to see how the pieces connect—and how much harder work becomes when the structure behind it is missing.
I’m a big-picture person with more ideas than one narrow lane can hold. My interests stretch across strategy, writing, design, technology, and operations. Through APS, I bring those interests together to help a business take shape as a whole.
That’s why I understand the person with scattered notes, several possible directions, and a vision that feels too big to explain in one sentence. We can give those ideas priorities, a plan, and somewhere to live.

What it’s like to work with me.
We start with a conversation about what you want to accomplish, what already exists, and what is getting in the way. You do not need to arrive knowing the right software, service name, or solution.
From there, I help identify priorities and break the work into manageable phases. We agree on the scope, deliverables, timeline, price, and your involvement before implementation begins.
Depending on your goals, I might build a business plan, an onboarding packet, a website, a dashboard, an SOP, a proposal, or an organized Google Drive or SharePoint workspace. The pieces should make sense together and be useful beyond the day they are delivered.
I’ll explain your options in plain language and make room for questions. The goal is for you to understand what we are building, why it matters, and how to use it.
